Every week our online service will be available to watch below.
As we are now in a second lockdown, unfortunately there will be no congregation physically in our service. Please watch the service online below.

The usual way we meet has changed for the time being in light of the Coronavirus pandemic
In line with government guidelines, from March 2020 we suspended all our physical gatherings as a church. From 6th September we will resume Sunday services at the school in a small-scale way as we carefully move towards meeting together once more – we’ve conducted a very comprehensive risk assessment which has been agreed with the school and is in line with their own assessment. (Full document here – it’s long! – and user friendly version here)
For the first few weeks the vast majority of people will need to watch from home as the only people at the school will be those involved in serving on that morning (our Zoom ‘virtual coffee time’ will continue after the service). We hope this will lead to us being able to invite a smaller-than-usual congregation later in the autumn…
All of our other meetings will remain online for now:
- Home Groups and prayer meetings
- Women of the Word, Vintage, Little Hoppers, Explored courses and all other church groups.
We have found lots of ways of continuing to meet together ‘online’. The Bible is clear that meeting together is a vital part of our Christian lives, and is a means by which we share encouragement and find joy even through difficult days (Hebrews 10:24-25).
If you are a regular at Hope you will have been receiving communication about how this is happening. We have also found ways of making church accessible to a wider group, especially those who might be reflecting on the bigger questions of life right now. If you’re not a regular – have a look around.
When Jesus said that he will always be with us, he meant it (Matthew 28:18-20). None of us is alone during this time. The God of all love, compassion and grace is with us. Let’s encourage one another with that great truth in these unusual times.
